Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms govern your use of SnapLegal (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Not a law firm; no legal advice
SnapLegal is not a law firm, is not a substitute for an attorney, and does not provide legal advice, opinions, or recommendations about your legal rights, remedies, defenses, options, or strategies. The Service provides self-help document templates that you complete yourself. Communication with the Service is not protected by any attorney-client privilege. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
State laws vary
Laws differ by state and change over time. While our templates include common terms and state-specific reminders, we do not guarantee that any document complies with the laws of your jurisdiction or is suitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every document against current law before signing or relying on it.
Pricing & Payment
SnapLegal is a one-time purchase of $2.99 per document. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, who handles billing and applicable taxes. We never receive or store your card details.
Refunds
Refunds are available as described in our Refund Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with information you are authorized to use. You must not use the Service to create false, fraudulent, or misleading documents, to misrepresent facts, or to infringe the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the content you enter and how you use the documents you generate.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you enter and the documents you create. Because your data stays in your browser, you are responsible for keeping your own copies and records.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapLegal and its operators will not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
